I got through it, reached the water wheel room. This place wasn't as hard as others, but it is surely a step up in difficulty. Though it's quite frustrating having to follow him around, he wasn't actually something you could easily die fighting. He ran away from you! And he would only, ocasionally attack with some kind of electric orb thing. Goht was not very hard, and was actually easier with the goron mask, rather than the fd mask. What got me here was that dang pillar, I didn't realize you could punch those disks of ice off to make it shorter. This place wasn't that hard but falling off, going back, got very annoying, and it was a bit difficult to get a good start. I definitley wouldn't consider this the hardest dungeon. I'd compare him to a stalfos since he has a sword and shield, but if you can get by the sheild he's simple to damage. Odolwa was pretty easy, since it didn't take much thinking to beat him. I'm not sure why something that simple was difficult, maybe I didn't think I could make it across since I was getting used to the deku mask. I only got "stuck" (if I remember correctly) on the part where you had to take the deku mask off to jump across to the room full of black boes. Infact, I am not really sure, Snowhead may be as hard as Great Bay Temple. The Great Bay temple was also by far harder than Woodfall Temple and Snowhead Temple, Even though Woodfall temple is no way near as hard as the Great Bay temple, Snowhead was a lot closer to the hardness of Great Bay Temple, I found this one hard but the Great Bay temple was hard with all the backtracking. Gyorg is by far harder than Goht and Odwala, For most of the battle Odwala's little minions were hurting me and when I killed them they dropped hearts that would heal me, I thought it was a little too easy, Goht got slightly harder making you zig zag around the arena dodging his attacks and traps but still was not too hard to beat. In My opinion, The hardest temple that I have completed is the Great Bay Temple and on the subject of that temple, I also found Gyorg the hardest boss so far, This made the other 2 look ridiculously easy. Twinmold - Gargantuan Masked Insect - Stone Tower Temple Igos Du Ikana - King of Ikana - Ikana Castle Gyorg - Gargantuan Masked Fish - Great Bay Temple Goht - Masked Mechanical Machine - Snowfall Temple Odwala - Masked Jungle Warrior - Woodfall Temple I want to hear what Temple you thought was hardest to play through without a guide and which boss was hardest to defeat without a guide.įor the benefit of the thread I am going to list each Temple and each boss and which temple that boss belongs to. If Link wears the Captain's Hat while fighting Igos's two lackies, Igos will mistake Link for Skull Keeta for a few seconds, before realizing he is too small and that he was deceived. As the title has stated, This thread is about the Hardest Temples and Bosses in Majora's Mask. The design for Igos and his two lackies seem to be similar to the design of the Stalfos seen in The Wind Waker. He then vanished, leaving the fate of the ruined Ikana in Link's hands. He then taught Link the Elegy of Emptiness. Igos then spoke to Link and told him that to bring light back to the land, he would have to purge Stone Tower of the evil that infected it. Igos appeared afterwards and berated the two, saying that such petty arguments is what reduced Ikana to its current state. Afterwards the two minions returned only as heads and began bickering. Link was able to fell the King of Ikana as well. He fought with sword and shield like his minion, but also breathed a toxic gas that damaged Link. By bringing the light back in, Link thwarted the two minions. He then issued his top two soldiers to deal with Link. He then used his powers to block the light from the room and sat himself on his throne. Igos spoke of how many of his servants had fallen namelessly to Link. His two soldiers was a thin one and the other a thicker boned one that tended to grunt. When Link went through Ikana Castle, he met Igos du Ikana and his two lackies. He stayed inside the ruined Ikana castle in his throne room from that point on. Like his followers, Igos du Ikana too suffered this fate. Ultimately Ikana lost and the king, Igos du Ikana, and his many followers were cursed to be ghosts and undead creatures rather than pass into the afterlife. Although the background is a bit vague on the subject, Ikana came under attack in a huge war. He was the former ruler of the old kingdom of Ikana. Igos du Ikana is the fallen king of the once prosperous Ikana Kingdom who appears as a miniboss in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
